With the Argument of “Terrorism” They Fight Against Islam

After the tragic events in the city of Karak and after the inviolable bloodshed of the honourable, military personnel and civilians in the city of Karak -  Karak of Salaah ud-Deen and Karak of Mu’tah and Karak Al-Mazar. It is blood that would not have flowed had it not been for the policies of the regime in Jordan which still represses and arrests the carriers of the Da’wah and the people of enlightened thought; fighting against them in the Masaajid, closing the Minbars in their faces and pursuing them using every means. Indeed, it harasses the ‘Ulemaa and terrorises them so that their voice is no longer heard and their opinion not known. Those who do not see in the military personnel except that they are the hope of the Ummah to change its reality, where their Nusrah (support) is located and the preservers of their dignity, through whom their holy sanctities are liberated and their honours are safeguarded, because they are from the Ummah and for it.
In origin, the blood of the military and the blood of the brave soldiers is meant to flow, but not in Karak or in any other of our towns or main cities. Rather, it should only be in the positions and locations of manhood and pride and upon the fronts of confrontation and al-Jihad in the liberation of Al-Aqsa, upon the gates of Al-Quds, in defence of the honours of the women and the blood of the children, in support of their people and brothers in Aleppo and other places within the Muslim lands, where they are being killed, their honours being violated and their houses being destroyed.
Following this event, the Jordanian regime, as per usual, launched a frenzied campaign using the argument of fighting terrorism, which had not existed in origin and had developed and flourished under these regimes; the regimes of injustice, oppression, corruption and ruin. Regimes which have removed and fought against the Minhaj (methodology) of Allah. And here we have its media outlets, its mouthpieces and apparatus altogether, launching into a cheap attempt to connect Islam and its thoughts to what happened in Karak and other places. It is directing accusatory fingers towards Islam, the Qur’an and the Masajid after having removed its true role, and towards the educational curriculums which no longer contain except a few Aayaat of the Book of Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta’Aalaa and some Ahaadeeth of our Noble Messenger (saw). Therefore, the Jordanian regime is exploiting and making use of the events to continue its fight against Islam as an Aqeedah and Ahkaam (rulings).
And at the same time that the regime is fighting the sincere from amongst the sons of the Ummah who are proceeding upon the path of the Messenger of Allah (saw) for change, without weapons or threatening security, we find the regime opening platforms, media outlets and forums to the secularists who are spiteful and malicious against Islam. They employ every department of the state to serve them and to convey their bleating and to continue their attacks upon the Deen of Allah and its rules, without any deterrence or fear of being prosecuted or questioned. Rather, all of the states’ departments overlook and indulge them and their offenses. So, we do not see an honourable stance being taken by the minister of endowments (religion) in defence of Islam and we do not see a stance from the Chief Judge pleasing to Allah and His Messenger (saw) nor from the department of Fatwas and if it has been questioned about this offense and insult, we have not heard a sound or even a whisper from it.
Verily Islam is the Deen of justice and mercy that Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta’Aalaa has chosen for the whole of mankind and it is He who described His Prophet (saw) with Rahmah (mercy). He Almighty said:
“And We have not sent you except as a Mercy for the worlds” [Al-Anbiyaa’: 107].
Everything that Muhammad (saw) is a mercy for the worlds and adherence to the Ahkam (rulings) of Islam and its application of them as Allah Ta’Aalaa has commanded represents the essence of the Rahmah. And Al-Jihaad in the way of Allah which is the method for carrying Islam and raising the word of Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta’Aalaa high is from the Rahmah (mercy). Allah Ta’Aalaa says:
“And fight them until there is no [more] Fitnah and [until] worship is for Allah. But if they cease, then there is to be no aggression except against the oppressors” [Al-Baqarah: 193].
Similarly, the Ahkam related to Al-Qisaas and the Hudood are from this Rahmah:
﴿وَلَكُمْ فِي الْقِصَاصِ حَيَاةٌ يَاْ أُولِيْ الأَلْبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
“And there is for you in Al-Qisaas (legal retribution) [saving of] life, O you of understanding, so that you may become righteous” [Al-Baqarah: 179].
Consequently, the entire Deen of Allah and its Ahkam (rulings) is a Rahmah (mercy),
Our people in Jordan:
You must adopt a stance that is pleasing to Allah and His Messenger (saw) to stand against the campaign of distortion and the campaign of offence against our great Deen which is being undertaken using the argument of fighting “terrorism” and which is being led, fostered and directed by the regime which has sided with the plans of the Kafir (disbeliever) West in its efforts to extinguish the light of Allah, which Allah will complete and perfect in spite of the disbelievers.
Our people in Jordan:
This is your Deen and this is your Aqeedah (belief). So, do not be diverted away from it and do not be frightened or intimidated by what this regime, its cronies and tools are claiming in terms of connecting Islam to terrorism, excess and extremism. So, be with your Deen and your Aqeedah in every situation and place and be defenders of its rulings and systems, supporting it and bringing victory to it, whatever the cost to you. That is because it represents your saviour and without it there is destruction and loss in the life of this world and in the Hereafter.
Allah Ta’Aalaa says:
“They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it. It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, although those who associate others with Allah dislike it” [As-Saff: 8-9].

An advice to Muslims working in the financial sector

Assalam wa alaikum wa rahmatullah wabarakatahu, Dear Brothers & Sisters, We are saddened to see Muslims today even those who practise many of the rules of Islam are working in jobs which involve haram in the financial sector. They are working in positions which involve usurious (Riba) transactions, insurance, the stock market and the like. Even though many of the clear evidences regarding the severity of the sin of Riba are known, some have justified their job to themselves thinking that they are safe as long as they are not engaged in the actual action of taking or giving Riba. Brothers & Sisters, You should know that the majority of jobs in the financial sector, even the IT jobs in this area are haram (prohibited) as they involve the processing of prohibited contracts. If you work in this sector, do not justify your job to yourself because of the fear of losing your position or having to change your career, fear Allah as he should be feared and consider His law regard

Q&A: Age of separating children in the beds?

Question: Please explain the hukm regarding separation of children in their beds. At what age is separation an obligation upon the parents? Also can a parent sleep in the same bed as their child? Answer: 1- With regards to separating children in their beds, it is clear that the separation which is obligatory is when they reach the age of 7 and not since their birth. This is due to the hadith reported by Daarqutni and al-Hakim from the Messenger (saw) who said: When your children reach the age of 7 then separate their beds and when they reach 10 beat them if they do not pray their salah.’ This is also due to what has been narrated by al-Bazzar on the authority of Abi Rafi’ with the following wording: ‘We found in a sheet near the Messenger of Allah (saw) when he died on which the following was written: Separate the beds of the slave boys and girls and brothers and sisters of 7 years of age.’ The two hadiths are texts on the separation of children when they reach the age of 7. As for the

Q&A: Shari' rule on songs, music, singing & instruments?

The following is a draft translation from the book (Selected fiqhi [jurprudential] issues) by the Mujtahid, Sheikh Abu Iyas Mahmoud Abdul Latif al-Uweida (May Allah protect him) . Please refer to the original Arabic for exact meanings. Question: What is the Shari’ ruling in singing or listening to songs?  What is the hukm of using musical instruments and is its trade allowed? I request you to answer in detail with the evidences? Answer: The Imams ( Mujtahids ) and the jurists have differed on the issue of singing and they have varying opinions such as haraam (prohibited), Makruh (disliked) and Mubah (permissible), the ones who have prohibited it are from the ones who hold the opinion of prohibition of singing as a trade or profession, and a similar opinion has been transmitted from Imam Shafi’i, and from the ones who disliked it is Ahmad Ibn Hanbal who disliked the issue and categorised its performance under disliked acts, a similar opinion has been tran
