Concluding Statement of the International Media Conference: "GAZA and All of Palestine Seeks Victory from Muslim Armies"

Conference held in Beirut, Lebanon by Hizb ut Tahrir on 19 Shawwal 1435 AH, corresponding to 15/08/2014 CE.
Hizb ut Tahrir held its Media conference under the title "Gaza ... Rather All of Palestine Seeks Victory from Muslim Armies". The speeches by the media representatives of Hizb ut Tahrir from Egypt, Jordan and Turkey confirmed that the duty towards Palestine is the mobilization of armies to liberate Gaza, rather all of Palestine, and then they directed an appeal to the families and relatives of the officers and soldiers in order to urge them to bring victory to Gaza and to liberate Masjid Al-Aqsa and to carry out their military duty towards their Ummah, and not to obey the disgraceful orders of the rulers.
There was a broadcast of a recorded speech from Gaza prepared and presented by the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Palestine. They revealed the magnitude of the devastation and what afflicted the Muslims there from the brutal killing and systematic destruction by the Jewish entity, and they cried out for the support of the people of bravery and the armies to rise for the victory for the Blessed Land. There was also a broadcast of a recorded speech of the Head of the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Syria. It explained that the followers of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) are one Ummah to the exclusion of other people, their peace is one, and their war is one, and that the people of Syria feel the pain of the people of Gaza...
The speech of the Director of the Central Media Office emphasized on the pitiful state of the ring countries, which their conditions allowed the arrogance of the Jewish entity and its attack on the Muslims in Gaza ... And that the Jewish entity are treacherous people in addition to being usurpers of the Blessed Land... He added addressing the Muslim armies, particularly in the pitiful ring countries:
"We realize that the angels will not descend from Heaven to establish the Khilafah for us and lead the army for us to eliminate the Jewish entity and free Palestine. But Allah descends angels to help us if we work with earnestness, honesty and sincerity to resume the Islamic way of life in the land and establish the Khilafah. So the armies will mobilize to fight the Jewish entity, and to bring victory to the Deen of Allah the Almighty, and then Allah the Powerful, the Exalted in Might will descend angels to help us and not to fight on our behalf; and the Quran speaks of this in the verses of the precise and wise message:
بَلَى إِنْ تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا وَيَأْتُوكُمْ مِنْ فَوْرِهِمْ هَذَا يُمْدِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ بِخَمْسَةِ آلَافٍ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ مُسَوِّمِينَ
"Yes indeed! But if you are steadfast and have taqwa and they come upon you suddenly, your Lord will reinforce you with five thousand angels, clearly identified."
(Al-i-Imran: 125)
Then there were questions and queries from journalists and media personnel which were answered with full transparency and accuracy.
The conference concluded with the emphasis on the following three points which it considered as recommendations, but rather duties upon the Ummah that they must work to achieve:
1- It is a must to mobilize the Islamic armies to liberate the land and for the protection of the subjects and to cut the hand of the enemies that stretches with evil. If they do not move then it becomes the duty of the Ummah to move and to push them in order to break the authority of the rulers imposed on them. It is the armies and people of power that allow the rulers to consolidate their thrones and chairs, and keep them clinging tightly to their posts, they are their mentors and guards, and thus if those decide to be with Allah سبحانه وتعالى, the demise of the rulers and change is possible and easy, God willing.
2- To reject all attempts to patch work to contain the will of the Muslims such as to bring in an international force in Gaza or international observers and the final solutions like the two-state solution, and similar conspiracies; the heroism of the people of Gaza with their modest means stunned the world and rocked the Jewish entity ... So what if the armies of the Ummah moved?
3- The true liberation of the Muslim Ummah from humiliation, disgrace, and inability and weakness it faces, will only be by the return of the second guided Khilafah upon the method of the Prophethood, and swear allegiance to a Khaleefah who will govern it by the Shariah of Allah سبحانه وتعالى, who will provide the best care and protection, a Khaleefah who will lift oppression from the Muslims and frees not only Gaza, rather all of Palestine and all that was occupied from Muslim countries ... The Khilafah State, which will bring back full glory, dignity, and strength to the Ummah to be the leader of the world to lead the international scene again and to remove oppression and govern justly, and proceed with the world for the good of mankind.
Hizb ut Tahrir invites you to this...

An advice to Muslims working in the financial sector

Assalam wa alaikum wa rahmatullah wabarakatahu, Dear Brothers & Sisters, We are saddened to see Muslims today even those who practise many of the rules of Islam are working in jobs which involve haram in the financial sector. They are working in positions which involve usurious (Riba) transactions, insurance, the stock market and the like. Even though many of the clear evidences regarding the severity of the sin of Riba are known, some have justified their job to themselves thinking that they are safe as long as they are not engaged in the actual action of taking or giving Riba. Brothers & Sisters, You should know that the majority of jobs in the financial sector, even the IT jobs in this area are haram (prohibited) as they involve the processing of prohibited contracts. If you work in this sector, do not justify your job to yourself because of the fear of losing your position or having to change your career, fear Allah as he should be feared and consider His law regard

Q&A: Age of separating children in the beds?

Question: Please explain the hukm regarding separation of children in their beds. At what age is separation an obligation upon the parents? Also can a parent sleep in the same bed as their child? Answer: 1- With regards to separating children in their beds, it is clear that the separation which is obligatory is when they reach the age of 7 and not since their birth. This is due to the hadith reported by Daarqutni and al-Hakim from the Messenger (saw) who said: When your children reach the age of 7 then separate their beds and when they reach 10 beat them if they do not pray their salah.’ This is also due to what has been narrated by al-Bazzar on the authority of Abi Rafi’ with the following wording: ‘We found in a sheet near the Messenger of Allah (saw) when he died on which the following was written: Separate the beds of the slave boys and girls and brothers and sisters of 7 years of age.’ The two hadiths are texts on the separation of children when they reach the age of 7. As for the

Q&A: Shari' rule on songs, music, singing & instruments?

The following is a draft translation from the book مسائل فقهية مختارة (Selected fiqhi [jurprudential] issues) by the Mujtahid, Sheikh Abu Iyas Mahmoud Abdul Latif al-Uweida (May Allah protect him) . Please refer to the original Arabic for exact meanings. Question: What is the Shari’ ruling in singing or listening to songs?  What is the hukm of using musical instruments and is its trade allowed? I request you to answer in detail with the evidences? Answer: The Imams ( Mujtahids ) and the jurists have differed on the issue of singing and they have varying opinions such as haraam (prohibited), Makruh (disliked) and Mubah (permissible), the ones who have prohibited it are from the ones who hold the opinion of prohibition of singing as a trade or profession, and a similar opinion has been transmitted from Imam Shafi’i, and from the ones who disliked it is Ahmad Ibn Hanbal who disliked the issue and categorised its performance under disliked acts, a similar opinion has been tran
