The Gaza Cycle- Has all of this happened before?

The Gaza Cycle:

Has all of this happened before?

A Zionist criminal aggression against the Muslims and people of Gaza in which children, women and the elderly are not spared in an indiscriminate campaign which some of the Zionists call a war on terror whilst others openly say is to cleanse the land of Arabs.

This is followed by messages of support from Washington, London, Paris, Berlin, Canberra and other western nations in which they declare their support for the Israeli right to self-defence whilst condemning the terrorists in Gaza? The victims who have yet to lose a single life and the perpetrators (women and children) whose death toll is nearing 200!

An example of such support can be found in the words used by the Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott when he said: “In so many ways, [Israel is] a country so much like Australia, a liberal, pluralist democracy,” he said, “A beacon of freedom and hope in a part of the world which has so little freedom and hope” and “When Israel is fighting for its very life, well, as far as I’m concerned, Australians are Israelis. We are all Israelis in those circumstances.”

In the neighbouring Muslim lands the rulers make some kind of remarks about condemning excess force whilst at the same time maintaining all their normal communications with the Zionist regime and Erdogan of Turkey will make some kind of remark against Israel and threatening not to be friends with her again until she stops her hostilities or something similar.

This will then continue and maybe an emergency session will be heard in the UN or in the Arab league which will then be followed by calls for Egypt to mediate. Negotiations will begin, some rocky ceasefires will begin in which Hamas will try and gain some small political victory before a more permanent ceasefire is arranged. Hamas will claim that they have achieved some concessions for the people whilst in reality none of these concessions in respect to easing the embargo and blockade or some prisoner releases will ever be fully delivered or complied with. Egypt will once again be hailed as the peacemaker (Doesn’t matter if it’s Mubarak, Mursi or Sisi) despite the fact that they were conspiring all along with the Zionist State alongside the other neighbouring lands against the people of Gaza and merely came in when their masters declared it is the right time to make their entrance i.e. after the Zionist State has finished what it intended to achieve.

The above routine happened in February 2008 when 112 were killed and again in December 2008 in operation ‘Cast lead’ in which over 1500 were killed including the slaughter of near to 300 children. It then happened again in November 2012 for a week in which 105 of the people of Gaza were killed and now just over a year and a half later exactly the same thing has happened.

This is the routine of the Zionist State, the Western powers and their agent rulers in the Muslim countries whose number one role is serving the west and betraying and conspiring against the Muslims and their Deen.

However the Ummah also has a routine of their own which they also repeat time and time again. Al-Hamdu Lillah the goodness in the Ummah and her collective feeling manifests strongly when the Muslims in Palestine are under attack. From one side of the world to the other the emotions and feelings of the Muslims erupt and within no time they jump into action. Charity, petitions, boycotts, special Du’aa’s for Palestine, social media is on fire and nobody is discussing anything else and demonstrations are arranged alongside non-Muslims on humanitarian grounds and calls. In other parts of the world the Muslims erupt in demonstrations cursing the Jews and America whilst burning their flags in rage and anger and so on.

This routine continues side by side with the first routine and then when the first routine ends i.e. some kind of longer more permanent ceasefire is agreed, the second routine also comes to a wind down and before you know it is Eid and everyone is celebrating the end of a month of fasting!!

Abu Hurairah (ra) related that the Prophet (saw) said:

لَا يُلْدَغُ الْمُؤْمِنُ مِنْ جُحْرٍ وَاحِدٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ

The believer is not stung from the same hole twice (Muslim).

This Noble Hadeeth of the Messenger (saw) informs us that the Muslim should be sharp and aware enough not to fall into the same trap twice. So what are the traps that we must become aware of in light of the cycle and repeated routine which the Ummah is afflicted with at the hands of the Zionists in Gaza and what lessons must we learn?

One reason why the Muslims are caught up in this cycle and routine where emotions pour out and actions are quickly rushed in to over a short space of time before matters return to what they were before everything started, is that the Ummah has the strong tendency, on mass, to be led by emotion and not by thought and awareness. We feel the pain and we want to rush to do something in order to relieve the suffering of our Muslim brothers and sisters however what do we actually achieve by adopting this approach and what could possibly be hoped to be achieved?

Are these incidents and calamities that befall the Ummah whether in Palestine, Syria, Pakistan, Burma, Kashmir, Iraq, Afghanistan, India, Burma, Sri Lanka, Russia, China and Uzbekistan amongst many other lands not continuous and are they not repeated time and time again? All of them have their own routines and conspiracies whilst we fall in place with our own routines of anger, emotion, boycotts, petitions, charity and protests etc..

Is this all that can be expected from an Ummah of over 1.6 billion, the greatest share of the world’s resources and largest army in the world? Are these actions on par with the description that Allah (swt) has given to this Ummah when He (swt) said:

كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ

You are the best Ummah that has been raised up for mankind. You order the Ma’rouf and you forbid the Munkar, and you believe in Allah (Aali ‘Imraan 110).

When any other nations in the world are attacked in any of their territories, lands, interests or upon their citizens, would they immediately say we need to raise money and send clothing, or that we need to write petitions and organise boycotts? Or would the people of that nation expect their governments and their armies to intervene to protect their lands, citizens and interests? Do we even need to think about the answer to this question and yet when it comes to our problems, our calamities and when our lands and Ummah are being attacked, occupied and divided by the Western nations and their allies the first thing we can think of is charity!! Is this the response of the greatest Ummah that has been raised up for mankind and the Ummah that Allah (swt) has given the responsibility to be witnesses over mankind after the Messenger of Allah (saw) fulfilled his mission as witnesses over us by conveying the whole, perfect and complete message of Islaam to us?

Allah (swt):

And as such, we have made you the best Ummah so that you will be witnesses over mankind and the Messenger of Allah (saw) is witness over you (Al-Baqarah 143).

The Muslim Ummah has to realise that at the heart of all of their pains, sufferings and calamities that befall them there is one major political problem. Whilst all other nations and peoples in the world have States this Islamic Ummah since 1924 has not had one. The Ummah’s State, the Khilafah, was destroyed and all of our lands became colonised by the West and without exception, all the regimes in the Muslim world, were and still remain, slaves and servants to the western agenda, interests and objectives. They all collaborate and conspire day and night in obedience to their masters against Islaam and the Ummah. The agents are helped by their agents in the media and the Scholars and Sheikhs who run State institutions or are given a lot of airtime on Television and Satellite whilst promoting acts such as Charity and Du’aa whilst bombs are landing upon Muslim heads and armies are invading our lands.

This is the reality that the Ummah has to understand and comprehend with full-awareness so that she can begin to work in accordance to the correct work which will remove her from these cycles, routines, futile short-lived emotionally driven efforts and actions. These have been placed there and presented by her enemies and their assistants from amongst the Muslims in order to distract her and take her away from the only path that will free her and liberate her from this cycle and the clutches of the Western powers.

This work is the work to build an Ummah and to re-establish the Islamic Khilafah State that will implement the belief of the Ummah, establish her values, implement the Shar’iah rulings that have come from the Qur’aan and the Sunnah and will carry the Da’wah of Islaam to the whole world.

The Nabi (saw) said:

إِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ

Verily the Imaam alone is the shield of the Muslims, fighting is performed from behind him and protection is found in him (Muslim).

The Imaam of the Muslims, the Khalifah of the Muslims, is the shield of this Ummah. Without him we have no protection and without him we will continue to go around in circles and cycles without being able to provide any true solutions to our problems. And greater than all of this, without him we will continue to live in sin as an Ummah and will share the sin for all of the crimes and calamities that are afflicted upon this Ummah whilst not following the Shar’iah method to solve them and alleviate them.

An advice to Muslims working in the financial sector

Assalam wa alaikum wa rahmatullah wabarakatahu, Dear Brothers & Sisters, We are saddened to see Muslims today even those who practise many of the rules of Islam are working in jobs which involve haram in the financial sector. They are working in positions which involve usurious (Riba) transactions, insurance, the stock market and the like. Even though many of the clear evidences regarding the severity of the sin of Riba are known, some have justified their job to themselves thinking that they are safe as long as they are not engaged in the actual action of taking or giving Riba. Brothers & Sisters, You should know that the majority of jobs in the financial sector, even the IT jobs in this area are haram (prohibited) as they involve the processing of prohibited contracts. If you work in this sector, do not justify your job to yourself because of the fear of losing your position or having to change your career, fear Allah as he should be feared and consider His law regard

Q&A: Age of separating children in the beds?

Question: Please explain the hukm regarding separation of children in their beds. At what age is separation an obligation upon the parents? Also can a parent sleep in the same bed as their child? Answer: 1- With regards to separating children in their beds, it is clear that the separation which is obligatory is when they reach the age of 7 and not since their birth. This is due to the hadith reported by Daarqutni and al-Hakim from the Messenger (saw) who said: When your children reach the age of 7 then separate their beds and when they reach 10 beat them if they do not pray their salah.’ This is also due to what has been narrated by al-Bazzar on the authority of Abi Rafi’ with the following wording: ‘We found in a sheet near the Messenger of Allah (saw) when he died on which the following was written: Separate the beds of the slave boys and girls and brothers and sisters of 7 years of age.’ The two hadiths are texts on the separation of children when they reach the age of 7. As for the

Q&A: Shari' rule on songs, music, singing & instruments?

The following is a draft translation from the book مسائل فقهية مختارة (Selected fiqhi [jurprudential] issues) by the Mujtahid, Sheikh Abu Iyas Mahmoud Abdul Latif al-Uweida (May Allah protect him) . Please refer to the original Arabic for exact meanings. Question: What is the Shari’ ruling in singing or listening to songs?  What is the hukm of using musical instruments and is its trade allowed? I request you to answer in detail with the evidences? Answer: The Imams ( Mujtahids ) and the jurists have differed on the issue of singing and they have varying opinions such as haraam (prohibited), Makruh (disliked) and Mubah (permissible), the ones who have prohibited it are from the ones who hold the opinion of prohibition of singing as a trade or profession, and a similar opinion has been transmitted from Imam Shafi’i, and from the ones who disliked it is Ahmad Ibn Hanbal who disliked the issue and categorised its performance under disliked acts, a similar opinion has been tran
